Black window frames have been a common trend for several years. It’s a simple solution with a modern twist for homeowners. This beautiful 1930’s brick home allowed us to showcase the beautiful simplicity of black window frames.
The old single pane windows throughout the entire home were replaced with high-performance aluminum windows from the NT Insulator series in black. Unlike most window frames that are painted, these frames are powder-coated to withstand color fade and extreme temperatures, especially in southern climates. Additionally, the heavy-duty window frame has an extra-large spacer that allows the energy to flow freely through the metal. The frames are Energy Star certified, made in Texas, and have a limited lifetime warranty.
The custom-designed arch picture window in the front did not comprise the original design of the home. The glass was replaced with Cardinal Low E 366 double-strength to help block harmful UV rays, but still, give the homeowners a beautiful view. The custom window replacement enhanced the original architectural style.
