Replacing Windows and Siding on a 1930’s Home
South Houston Project
In Houston, we’re beginning to see a trend of saving the iconic 1930’s -1950’s homes. This home located in the Medical Center District was almost condemned by the City of Houston, but the homeowner was able to restore this iconic home. We were thrilled to be included in the project.
We installed James Hardie Plank siding, soffit, fascia and trim painted in a light almond color. Then we installed custom energy efficient windows with the frame color in almond. The windows are double pane, made in Texas, and with the Low E 360. This reduces the amount of sunlight into the home. Ready for the summer heat wave in Houston.
